Weekly Survey
You have heard it many times at funerals and probably have said it yourself at some point: “They are in a better place… they have gone home.” Our hymns even reflect this Platonic idea of the soul’s escape from the body. We must rid ourselves of this mantra that speaks of going to heaven when we die as if we will have come to the end of our journey. Where do you stand?
