Ellen White proved she was a false prophet when she wrote very glowingly about John Calvin, who ordered the death of the Spanish Michael Servatus because he denied the divinity of Yahushua and rejected the Trinity. Adventists are cautious of admitting any error in Ellen White’s writings. Because if she were a true prophet who received messages via visions and visits from angels, her message should be error-free. But it’s not. The trinity doctrine needs to be revised. Instead of recognizing that it is a ridiculous, absurd, preposterous idea that is impossible to understand, proponents of it dismiss the problems that arise when trying to explain it and say, “It’s a mystery too deep for human understanding.” And that’s supposed to be enough for us to lay aside logic.
