Luther het uit die boek van Romeine geleer dat Yahuwah`n God is wie die goddelose regverdig. Ons sou nie verwag het dat dit so sou lees nie\u2026 Ons is verbaas en s\u00ea, \u201cYahuwah, u moet net die goddelikes regverdig! Wat is u planne?\u201d Maar in hoofstuk 4, vers 5, s\u00ea die boek dat onse God regverdig die goddelose.<\/p>\n

Kan ek iets noem waaraan jy nie mag gedink het nie? Baie min predikante preek oor Ananias en Saffira. Hier is twee kerklede, wie in `n goeie en standvastige toestand was, en wie dood geslaan is! Waarom?<\/p>\n

Nie omdat hulle deel van die geld van die verkoop van die eiendom teruggehou het nie, hoegenaamd nie! Petrus het aan hulle ges\u00ea: \u201cDit is in jul hande.\u201d Hulle was dood geslaan omdat hulle hul geestelike toestand voor Yahuwah wan voorgestel het. Hulle het in Sy teenwoordigheid gekom asof hulle heilig en sondeloos was, toe slaan Yahuwah hulle dood.<\/p>\n

U weet, barmhartigheid en onheil gaan hand aan hand. Dit is `n hartseer wet in ons w\u00eareld dat dit veral wanneer onheil ons hande leeggemaak het van \u201cdinge\u201d dat ons die genade van Yahuwah kan ontvang. Genade en onheil gaan hand aan hand, en dit is waarom die eerste drie hoofstukke van Romeine donker en somber is – `n reeks donderslae –<\/p>\n

\u201cWant almal het gesondig, en dit ontbreek hulle aan die heerlikheid van Yahuwah. Daar is niemand wat goed doen nie; daar is niemand wat soek na Yahuwah, hulle het almal van die weg afgedwaal. En wat die wet ookal s\u00ea, s\u00ea hy dit aan hulle wie onder die wet is sodat elke mond gestop kan word en die hele w\u00eareld onderwerp sal word aan die oordeel van Yahuwah.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dit is stormagtig! Dink daaraan om vertel te word dat jy ontbreek aan die heerlikheid van Yahuwah is om onder veroordeling te wees.<\/p>\n
