Die boek van Klaagliedere bevat `n magtige les in geloof en hoop, bevestigend dat Yahuwah `n God is wat Sy beloftes nakom\u2014hulle almal.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\"\"`n Aflewerings trok bestuurder, het die hoeveelheid ruimte wat hy bo sy trok was, misreken, en reggekry om dit onder die brug in te druk. Polisie het spoedig daar aangekom. Die stads ingenieur was ingeroep. Hoe om die trok uit te kry sonder onherstelbare skade was `n komplekse probleem. `n Klein seuntjie, aangetrek deur al die gewoel en gewerskaf, was verbaas om te hoor dat die volwassenes in so `n verwarring was.<\/p>\n

\u201cWaarom laat julle nie net die lug uit die bande vry nie?\u201d het hy feitlik gevra. So `n eenvoudige oplossing vir `n uitdagende situasie! Dikwels raak ons so gefokus op ons eie kleingeestige uitgangs-punt dat ons die belangrike lesse mis. In sulke tye, het ons behoefte om `n tree terug te gee en ons fokus te skuif na `n ander perspektief.<\/p>\n

Tye van Beproewing<\/b><\/h3>\n

Tye van beproewing daag ons geloof uit. Die verlies van `n kind, die verlies van `n vriendskap of `n huwelik, selfs die verlies van `n werk kan mens verward laat voel, wat die doel van die lewe laat wankel of bevraagteken. In sulke tye, is dit baie maklik om te wonder of Yahuwah werklik omgee. Sommige mense se vraag is of Yahuwah hulle dalk straf vir hul foute uit die verlede. As ons nie versigtig is nie, sal tye van pyn en weerbaarheid `n negatiewe impak op ons geloof h\u00ea. Maar dit hoef nie so te wees nie! Ons moet net ons perspektief verander, en dis waar die boek van Klaagliedere inkom.<\/p>\n

Jeremia het sy lewe spandeer om Juda te waarsku van die afwagtende Babiloniese inval as `n goddelike oordeel oor die verlating van Yahuwah. Uiteintlik, het die lang verwagte oordeel gekom, en Juda was in ru\u00efnes, haar volk na `n vreemde land geneem. Jeremia se hart-verskeurende angs is sigbaar in die aanvangs woorde van Klaagliedere:<\/p>\n

Ag, hoe verlate sit die stad wat vol mense was!

Juda is ontvolk sy sit onder die nasies,
\nsonder `n rusplek vir haar voete.<\/p>\n

Haar te\u00ebstaanders het die oorhand gekry,
\nhaar vyande lewe rustig;
\nwant Yahuwah het haar droefheid aangedoen vanwe\u00eb
\ndie menigte van haar oortredinge. (Klaagliedere 1:1,3 en 5)<\/p>\n

Indien enigeen rede gehad het om uitermate verlate te voel deur Yahuwah, was dit die volk van Juda.<\/p>\n

\"Paglunas<\/p>\n

Maar, nogtans in die nag van hul duisterste beproewing, het Jeremia hoop gesien, en hy het dit in die mees onwaarskynlikste plekke gesien!<\/p>\n

Yahuwah Kom Sy Beloftes Na<\/b><\/h3>\n

Moenie `n fout maak nie, Jeremia het verlate deur Yah gevoel. Hy het geweeklaag, \u201cEk is die man wat ellende gesien het deur die roede van sy grimmigheid. Ja, altyd weer draai Hy die hele dag sy hand teen my. Al skree ek ook en al roep ek om hulp, Hy laat my gebed onverhoord.\u201d (Klaagliedere 3:1,3, en 8).<\/p>\n

En tog, selfs te midde van sy angs, het Jeremia vasgehou aan sy kennis van Yahuwah se karakter. Hy het geweet hy dien `n God van liefde.<\/p>\n

Dink aan my ellende en \u2026 buig hy hom neer in my.<\/p>\n

Dit sal ek ter harte neem,
\ndaarom sal ek hoop:
\nDit is die goedertierenhede van Yahuwah
\ndat ons nie omgekom het nie,
\nwant sy barmhartighede het geen einde nie;
\nhulle is elke m\u00f4re nuut, u trou is groot.
\nYahuwah is my deel, s\u00ea my siel,
\ndaarom sal ek op Hom hoop.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goed is Yahuwah vir die wat op Hom hoop,
\nvir die siel wat Hom soek.
\nDit is goed om in stilheid te hoop op
\ndie hulp van Yahuwah. (Klaagliedere 3:19-26).<\/p>\n

\"Paglunas<\/p>\n

Onthou Yahuwah se karakter van liefde maak aan Jeremia bekend dat die verwoesting van Juda was homself<\/i> bewys dat Yahuwah Sy beloftes nakom!<\/p>\n

Duidelik terug in Deuteron\u00f3mium 29, het Moses Israel gewaarsku wat sou gebeur as hulle na ander gode gaan. Hul land sal heeltemal vernietig word, Moses het voorspel, dat ander nasies sal verbaas staan.<\/p>\n

En al die nasies sal s\u00ea: \u201cwaarom het Yahuwah so met hierdie land gedoen? Wat beteken hierdie groot toorngloed?\u201d<\/p>\n

Dan sal hulle antwoord: \u201cOmdat hulle die verbond van Yahuwah, die God van hul vaders, verlaat het wat Hy met hulle gesluit het toe hulle deur Hom uit Egipteland uitgelei is, en hulle ander gode gaan dien en hulle daarvoor neergebuig het, gode wat aan hulle nie bekend was nie, en wat Hy hulle nie toebedeel het nie.\u201d (Deuteron\u00f3mium 29:24-26).<\/p>\n

Jeremia het besef dat die verskriklike verwoesting van Juda deur Babilon was in haarself die vervulling van Yahuwah se beloftes! Deur sy perspektief te verskuif het aan Jeremia die versekering gegee wat hy nodig gehad het om in Yahuwah te vertrou, want as Yahuwah Sy beloftes gehou het om Israel te verwoes vir hul afvalligheid, dan sou Hy ook Sy beloftes hou om Israel te herstel as hulle weereens na Hom terugkeer.<\/p>\n

Want Yahuwah sal nie vir ewig verstoot nie.
\nMaar as Hy bedroef het,
\nontferm Hy Hom oor die grootheid
\nvan Sy goedertierenhede;
\nwant nie van harte verdruk of bedroef Hy
\ndie mensekinders nie. (Klaagliedere 3:31-33)<\/p>\n

Wat Hy Aan Ander Gedoen Het, Sal Hy Vir Jou Doen<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"PaglunasNet die feit dat ons in `n w\u00eareld van sonde lewe is `n waarborg dat, in een of ander tyd in die lewe, sal ons hartverskeurende hartseer, verwarring en verlies ervaar. Die Woord van Yahuwah waarsku ons dat \u201cdie loon van die sonde is die dood.\u201d (Romeine 6:23) Ons is nie uniek in lyding in `n w\u00eareld van sonde nie. Paulus het ges\u00ea: \u201cWant ons weet dat die hele skepping tesame sug en tesame in barensnood is tot nou toe.\u201d (Romeine 8:22) Lyding beteken nie altyd dat ons uitgesonder is om deur Yahuwah gestraf te word nie. Moenie vir daardie demoniese leuen val nie. Lyding is eenvoudig maar net deel van lewe in `n sondige w\u00eareld; dit is waarvan Yahushua ons in die eerste plek van wou bevry! En hoe meer ons oorgee, hoe meer sal ons ons lewens in lyn met Sy wil bring, hoe gelukkiger sal ons wees. (Sien Hebre\u00ebrs 12: 1-8).<\/p>\n

Die einste feit dat sonde lyding te weeg gebring het\u2014nes Yahuwah ons gewaarsku het dit sou\u2014is uit homself bewys dat Yahuwah Sy beloftes hou. Ongeag van hoe somber die toekoms lyk, ongeag die pyn waarin ons is, jy kan Yahuwah vertrou dat Hy Sy beloftes sal hou.
